Silver Sprig includes cooler winter hues. Warmer tones are added through the addition of green and hints of pebble grey. A great colour combination to brighten up darker rooms. Use light wall colours and accessorize with twigs in vases to add structure and interest. My small embroidered mixed media pieces will provide the intricate details needed to bring this simple scheme to life.

large rustic fireside log basket filled with logs tied with grey ribbon as inspiration for interior decor and decoration ideas.

Woodland Farmhouse Colour Story

Create a true country feel and bring the outdoors in. Perfect for a relaxed family kitchen my green palettes will co-ordinate with modern kitchens and cream accessories. Think of the traditional AGA, the smell of freshly baked bread and you have a homely kitchen. Include small artworks propped up on feature shelves with cookery books and French wire work to store those eggs with Kilner jars for all those bakery essentials. Visit the allotment for fresh ingredients and bring art into the heart of the family home.

soft copper

Warm copper tones inspired by the Golden Sands of Jersey. These would compliment any room with the current on trend copper accessories, co-ordinate with blond wood and green recycled glass. If you're looking for drama mix with dark walls in either forest green or Prussian blue.

The laundry Room - In recent trends the common utility room as seen an upgrade with the advent of the Boot Room in many an interior publication and not to mention scatterings of images of these on pinterest. The Laundry room has had a serious upgrade. Often the first room ( if you use the back door) to welcome visitors so why not show it some love. Consider how uplifting if could be not only to have a functional space but one that is inviting and homely. Consider rustic baskets, enamelware to store washing products, glass bottles for softener and peg boxes. All this of course should be complimented by cosy cushions to perch on whilst changing muddy wellies and Art, either placed to brighten up shelves or on the walls to create cosy corners. All this accompanied by the scent of Lavender - washing has never been so much fun.
